“It has been demonstrated that PCOS women who received DCI enjoyed lower free and total cholesterol levels, lower blood pressure, increased insulin sensitivity, and a higher frequency of ovulation.

Furthermore, DCI administration in PCOS women seems to improve BMI (body mass index), WHR (waist-hip ratio) and both systolic and diastolic blood pressure, hence improving the overall physical health of the patient.”

I have corresponded regarding pcos of my daughter earlier in the day.
How do I administer 1200mg or 600mg from 108Grams packet? Are they available in capsule forms so that one capsule of 600mg could be administered every morning according to her weight. By which Post will u send to India and what is the time duration b4 reaching the destination? May I know how exactly u r making the DCI ? Is it your own home made preparation? Sorry for being so inquisitive.I hope u will understand my anxiety and not get offended.I am very much worried about my daughters health.
    Best wishes / Regards

    Dear Uma,

The DCI powder is supplied with a custom scoop which measures 100 mg of DCI. This makes it much easier and more accurate to get the right dosage compared to capsules. Unless otherwise requested orders are sent via standard AirMail which is untrackable. Orders can be sent by registered post for around $20 (as opposed to $2.40 for up to 36 grams or $4.90 for up to 108 grams). If you are able to afford a larger order (108 grams or 216 grams) and registered post, this is preferable. Either method of postage will arrive in 1-2 weeks on average. Express post is available for around $50 to arrive within 2-3 days (with tracking).

The DCI is manufactured in South Korea by a reputable nutraceutical manufacturing company in a FDA cGMP facility. It is made from an extract of carob pods.

I’m happy to answer any questions you have Uma. Your daughter’s health is important and you should not apologise for being conscientious. If you would like copies of the scientific studies into DCI and PCOS, please let me know. I would be more than happy to email them to you.

    Kind regards,

    Anne

    Hello,

Thank you for sharing so much information with other PCOS sufferers.

I am curious: Do you take both Inositol and Glucorein at the same time? Do they cancel, enhance or harm each other in your experience?

I have been taking Inositol for about a month and I am starting with Glucorein. I also take Cinnamon before my meals.

    Have a good day…

Where would the DCI be shipping from ?
I reside in the United States and I am trying to figure out the USD costs.
    Thanks

    Hi Laura,

The DCI comes from Australia. If you select an amount to buy from this page, Paypal will display the cost to you in your own currency before you commit to purchasing it. The USD and AUD are close to parity at the moment, with the USD being worth 5-10% more at the moment. The cost to you in USD for 36 grams, as of today would be $60.96 including shipping, according to xe.com.

If you have any more questions, please let me know. I’m here to help.

    Kind regards,

    Anne

    Hi Ambra,

Thank you for your comment and my apologies for the delay in responding.

I take Glucorein before breakfast and lunch and d-chiro inositol with magnesium and manganese just before bed. I personally don’t seem to find any benefit from myo-inositol at all, though I do go through stages where I try it for several months. I have no proof as to whether Glucorein and the inositols interact in any way, but suspect that if they did, it would be along the lines of Glucorein inhibiting the absorption of DCI, so this is why I take them separately. Chlorogenic acid, one of the ingredients in Glucorein inhibits glucose absorption from the gastrointestinal tract. Inositol is an isomer of glucose – a molecule that contains the same molecular components, but arranged differently. It’s only a vague possibility, but given how expensive both Glucorein and DCI are, I don’t want to take any chances. Glucorein is also a mild stimulant – chlorogenic acid has about 1/3 the stimulant activity of caffeine. It therefore seems sensible to me to take it earlier in the day, not when I’m trying to wind down and turn my brain off.

I hope this helps. If you have any further questions, please let me know. I’m here to help.

    Kind regards,

    Anne
