Dietary Changes Make a Difference in PCOS

A team of researchers led by George Liepa at the School of Health Sciences and Department of Chemistry, Eastern Michigan University have found that following a diet which emphasises anti-inflammatory compounds, such as fiber, omega 3 & 9 fatty acids, vitamin E and red wine, whilst reducing refined carbohydrates, trans fatty acids and saturated fats improves the androgen profile of women with PCOS.
